About
Welcome to my page, I’m Vivian Topaz! I am an automotive marketing specialist and performance technician with a lifelong passion for cars, motorsports, and the automotive community. I have dedicated much of my life to this industry because, to me, it has always been about so much more than just vehicles.
I grew up in my dad’s shop, where his specialty was hot rods and classic cars, although he worked on a little bit of everything. Once I turned 14, he began teaching me how to work on my own car so I could prepare it for daily driving by the time I got my license. That experience gave me an early appreciation for working with my hands and understanding how cars function, while also shaping the direction I wanted my future to take.
My favorite automotive platform is the Mazda Miata. I have owned several throughout my life, and I truly believe they are one of the most unique and versatile enthusiast cars ever made. They are easy to build, drive, and personalize, and they can fit into nearly every corner of car culture, from racing and drifting to show cars and street builds. To me, the Miata is basically a life-sized LEGO Technic set, with build possibilities limited only by your imagination and your wallet.
I also love creating automotive content for social media. What started as a hobby became one of my biggest passions, whether I am modeling, creating educational videos, documenting my builds, or producing content for clients. I began growing my social media presence in 2021 and have worked in social media and digital marketing in some capacity ever since.
Content creation has opened doors I never expected. Through social media, I have had opportunities to drive dream cars, inspire and connect with other enthusiasts, build a community, make lifelong friendships, develop real-world marketing skills, and form valuable professional relationships that may never have existed without my platforms.
My personal social media activity slowed after I moved to Ohio for college in August 2022, as I balanced work, school, and maintaining strong grades at the University of Northwestern Ohio. During my time at UNOH, I completed my Associate of Applied Science in High Performance Motorsports Technology and continued into the Business Administration program with a Marketing concentration.
My education at UNOH has given me a unique combination of hands-on technical knowledge and business and marketing experience. Being able to understand both the product and the customer has helped prepare me for the career I want to build in the automotive and motorsports industries. That combination of programs is what originally inspired me to move from California to Ohio at 18, and I believe the experience has prepared me well for the goals I am pursuing now.
I hope you enjoy learning more about me, my cars, my education, my social media work, and my media appearances as you explore my website. If you are interested in working together through modeling, content creation, social media consulting, automotive marketing, or technical automotive support, I would love to hear from you.
